The activities

In summer and winter alike, many activities are organised in the resort, and every year new initiatives are undertaken.

In summer :
- Music courses and free concerts are organised at the Flaine auditorium, next to our residence ;
- Activities for children such as accro-fun (net course), accro-kids (tree course), tennis, archery, trampoline, table tennis, petanque, bouncy castles, mini golf, pentaglisse, elasto-bungee, etc...
- The Pierre-Carrée 18-hole golf course ;
- Hiking circuits;
- The cultural centre with guided walks to discover the resort, and the library;
- Etc....
In winter :
- The Flaine ski area (1600m - 2500m), it is 64 slopes and 24 ski lifts. It allows you to discover the pleasure of a varied slide, between downhill skiing, freeride and freestyle, following the natural relief of the mountain.
- The Grand Massif ski area (700m - 2500 m) is one of the largest ski areas in France linked ski to ski, with the resorts of Flaine, Samoëns, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, with 139 pistes and 62 ski lifts.
- Handiskiing: for people with a motor disability, many skiing practices are accessible on the Flaine and Grand Massif ski area.
- Cross-country skiing: Through the fir trees, the Col de Pierre Carrée transports you to a world full of calm, ideal for cross-country skiing. Take the groomed track with free access and progress on the classic and skating tracks.
- Ski touring is the ideal activity for all lovers of snow sports and nature. Discover the most beautiful panoramas of Flaine and then ski down to the resort on the marked trails.
- Nordic area: Winter sports holidays also rhyme with calm and serenity. Flaine is a place of discovery of rare beauty. Make the most of your days or your après-ski moments to enjoy sports and activities that take you away from it all. At an altitude of 1,844 m, overlooking the Arve valley and the resort of Flaine, the Col de Pierre Carrée offers the highest and snowiest Nordic area in the Alps.
- Snowshoes & footpaths : For your walks on foot or snowshoes, maintained and marked trails with free access are located at the Col de Pierre Carrée. (Free access subject to weather conditions).
- Ice driving circuit (cars and quads)
Flaine is close to Chamonix and Geneva, as well as Lake Annecy....which means you can spend unforgettable moments in the region!
