- In winter :
- The Flaine ski area (1600m - 2500m), it is 64 slopes and 24 ski lifts. It allows you to discover the pleasure of a varied slide, between downhill skiing, freeride and freestyle, following the natural relief of the mountain.
- The Grand Massif ski area (700m - 2500 m) is one of the largest ski areas in France linked ski to ski, with the resorts of Flaine, Samoëns, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, with 139 pistes and 62 ski lifts.
- Handiskiing: for people with a motor disability, many skiing practices are accessible on the Flaine and Grand Massif ski area.
- Cross-country skiing: Through the fir trees, the Col de Pierre Carrée transports you to a world full of calm, ideal for cross-country skiing. Take the groomed track with free access and progress on the classic and skating tracks.

At an altitude of 1,844 m, overlooking the Arve valley and the resort of Flaine, the Col de Pierre Carrée offers the highest and snowiest Nordic area in the Alps.
- Snowshoes & footpaths : For your walks on foot or snowshoes, maintained and marked trails with free access are located at the Col de Pierre Carrée. (Free access subject to weather conditions).
